Pupkewitz Megatech: The name changed from Builders agencies (PTY) Ltd to Beimah Agencies (PTY) Ltd on 22 February 1968.  

Beimah Agencies traded in Industrial and Mining supplies, with offices situated in Ausspannplatz. During 2003, Pupkewitz Megatech (PTY) Ltd started trading from the Old M & Z building.  

On 3 July 2009, our name officially changed to Pupkewitz Megatech (PTY) Ltd, the offices and fully trading store moved to 10 Edison Street, Southern Industrial. 

With the move to Edison Street, most employees were appointed, the staff compliment grew from 11 to more than 100 by 2018.  The turning point for Megatech came in March 2016, the management team committed to each other and agreed on new business pillars to grow and develop Megatech to be the largest electrical solutions partner in Namibia.

We have in our service, specialists who can assist with professional advice and support in all fields of focus – electrical, lighting, solar and industrial.

The many alternations made on the building over the years, was proof of the growth that is of Pupkewitz Megatech (pty) Ltd.

Megatech diversified into PV Solar in 2017 and has since positioned itself as an innovative solution provider in the medium to large solar market.  

The decision was made to strip solar out of our current electrical store in Windhoek to give it the necessary attention to grow to the next level.

Our customers will be assisted by specifically appointed qualified specialists, as the correct support and guidance is of utmost importance to us and our clients in this field of focus.  The store will retail PV solar products in the following product segments:

• Solar components for grid tied and hybrid systems
• Low Volume storage for commercial and domestic demand
• Home solar solutions for domestic
• Solar thermal solutions – domestic and commercial
